That is a hard phrase to say many times. Its really amazing that I see the sun right now, but thats not what im going to write about. My week has been pretty amazing with some ups and downs. Monday, I was left to watch all 3 siblings of mine. For lunch I decided to make a pizza and when Aidan had told me she like doughy pizza I pulled the pizza out (not letting cook all the way through) needless to say, the dough was very gooey and was very disgusting. After that I felt a bit feverish and had a rest, only to wake up feeling more gross and sick than usual. I didnt go to work on Monday. Tuesday I planned to meet with Donavin, we went to Mr Mikes for lunch and looked at books in Chapters. At 4 I had a nail appt (Brett, Donavin came and waited for me just like you did :).. No little asian girls though :P) We came home and once off the bus, I realized I had left my cellphone on it. My dad drove me to Poco St and saw the bus driver just about to leave. We asked if we could look for my cellphone on the bus and there it was.. just sitting on the seat. PHEW. Talk about Christmas miracle. Donavin and I exchanged gifts. He loved his scrapbook. (I took pictures and will post them later I guess) And for me he bought me purple earrings and Almond Roca (the best chocolate in the world) and a real Amethyst bracelet that was like purple quartz ($$) It is beautiful. :) Wednesday was Christmas Eve, Luckily we had dinner early because our power went out at around 6:30pm and didnt come on until 7 am Christmas day. Although it was very unfortunate that our power went out on such a special occasion, It really drilled in the whole reason we have christmas. Mary and Joseph didnt have power the night Jesus was born. All they had were candles. Which Ironicly was what we had. Although my family is well equipped with laptops and portable DVD players, it was really nice to embrace the Christmas spirit. Christmas morning we woke up to power and raced into the living room. Santa had come :) I was spoiled with a new dress jacket, and other little things like Taylor Swift's new cd. Once all the gifts had been opened my mom and dad started working on christmas dinner, only to have my dad leave for a while and come out with another present. Shocked my siblings and I started opening it and found a Wii and controllers. Aidan and I freaked out, screaming and howling. Once we had calmed down we asked our parents if we could get Rock Band. They said maybe.. Then my dad left to go into his bedroom again, and came out with a larger box. I knew right away, It was Rock Band. Aidan and I set it up and have been playing on tour ever since. Needless to say my christmas was amazing. Boxing day was also amazing. I bought everything I wanted to and was very content.
