Snow falls.
I left work early. Caillie came in to see if a car had been picked up. She
had suggested I ask to get off early and bus home with her, and seeing as I wasnt doing much anyways I agreed. I asked Darren If I could leave early and went with her to starbucks. We were going to bus home, but she thought of taking a cab. When she called the taxi company the reciever said they were busy. So we went back to the dealership and asked Jeff the lot boy if he could drive us home. So he did. When I got home, Aidan convinced me to go outside and play in the snow. So I bundled up the twins and Aidan and I went and played with them in the snow. I really miss spending time with them, although I see them often, its usually us just passing each other in the house. We dont really spend time with each other or play together. And they are growing up so quickly. Aidan and I used the slip&slides to go down the drive way like snowboards.. except I fell. *Bella moment* And Em & I had a s
nowball fight, along with Aidan too. I made a fort to throw snowballs out of and through snowballs at the girls. Lance was off sliding down the driveway. The snow was so pretty and was truly a good christmas feel good moment. A bonus was that I didnt get too wet until Aidan decided to throw snowballs at my face and down my neck. I did the same and she freaked out. Oh young children. Im really glad I left work early. It brought this amazing moment into my life and probably will never forget it. The children were really cooperative with the pictures except Aidan. Lance and I tried to make a snowman, he brought the carrot and some peanuts but the snow was too powder-y so we just made a head :) Snow is so rare where I live, its beautiful when we have it. My favorite is when snow falls from a tree and falls in a shimmery mist. It truly is breath-taking. Here are some other pictures of our afternoon.
